Stalwart football manager passes away 03/03/2010

We realise this post has nothing to do with policing, however we were wondering why the English football team were wearing black armbands yesterday when they played Egypt.

And then we found out that Keith Alexander, the manager at Macclesfield, had passed away at the age of 53.

Alexander was the first Black manager in English football, he was a role model to youth and an absolute gentlemen; they say he broke the barriers and others followed.
