Sergeant Delroy Smellie

…..is to be charged with assault. The CPS say there is enough evidence to prosecute.  The officer has been served with a summons and is currently suspended.

And how the victim appears so calm, collected and effortlessly superior; not that she provoked the Sergeant in any way, oh no.

I don’t think she was ranting or anything like that, or abusive, or in the face of the officer or that this altercation was beginning to rile other protesters against the police…..such that the public order incident was in danger of getting worse.

Common sense appears not to prevail here and the service, ACPO and the Federation do not appear to have the balls to say officers may use reasonable force. The perpetrator in this, from the video evidence we have seen, appears to have been  the victim; who now magically appears to have grown a silver tongue.

Anjem Choudary. Who is he?

The individual at the centre of  the picture above is someone we here, at the now esteemed and recognised Twining Chronicles, would describe as a militant Islamic extremist; in other words a racist bigot.

Let us explain why.

A follower of the other extremist, Omar Bakri, Choudary was responsible partly in relation to the protests at Luton against home coming soldiers. Ooo.

His views towards homosexuality are that homosexuals should be stoned to death. Oo-er.

Not always a stern follower of his extreme brand of Islam, Chodary in his student days was pictured swigging beer, cavorting with women and puffing a cannabis joint. Whoo-hoo!

This man is not a nice man and we have no problems in suggesting that in fact he is a big ass but we would still like to invite him for tea and biscuits!

What NightJack might have done if he was Chief Constable?

1. Find a fine balance between PCSO’s and warranted officers.
2. Streamline Senior Officer ranks. One Chief, One DCC, one ACC. In most Forces the saving in salaries would employ another 9 Constables.
3. Streamline Chief Super ranks. Just get rid of at least 4 of these Corporate bods releasing erm 6 Constables.
4. Reduce the number of police staff members who simply have no idea about policing but employ themselves in role purely to increase the number of police staff in police organisations. Make defunct the role of HR Director, and their side kicks; they are simply the worst bullies. Re-deploy them as HR Manager. That would employ an extra 3 Constables. Then NightJack might further redeploy the whole of the HR machinery. Just rid the service of this boll – – – – of a function.
5. Close down left wing diversity Units. Removing the secretariat would allow for employing an extra 4 Constables.
6. Er then redeploy those Federation bods that are hand in hand with the Chiefs. (3).
7. And finally forthwith reduce in rank the Staff Officer’s to Chiefsies. (3).

Dickie, do you still think I am making it up that right wing elements were marching against Islam and that protesters protested against this right wing fascism?

(2) Birmingham before that.

(3) Luton sometime last year.

Why an increase recently ?

Are these going to increase?

What casualties? Police and civilian?

Have we the resources to tackle these?

Free speech V violence?

I said I would explain my absence…

Here goes…..A few weeks ago we lost a young member of the extended family; and within the extended family, this was a close and big loss to us. I for one don’t know how to deal with this one. It’s difficult enough to say anymore because sometimes we are lost for words, and unfortunately I am lost for words. But this goes hand in hand with my last post about Notting Hill where another young member of the family was pounced upon. 

The kids from our family went to Notting  Hill to celebrate the life of someone they had lost. They wore T shirts depicting the member of the family that was no longer with us;clearly marked with birth and death dates. The thieves that took the chain clearly have no heart. The offenders would have seen the T shirts; these people I am afraid do not respect the living or dead. I am still annoyed and perhaps upset. As a uncle I feel very very alone. Sometimes in our job we are made to feel alone and lonely and the police family is a big family, thank goodness, but even within our family circles we can feel alone.
